"Green little beauties." I thought smiling to myself.
As I stopped out for coffee in our kitchen this morning, I was happy to see the two dozen sparking shiny jars of freshly made dill pickles sun-glistening on our wood eating table.
It is so satisfying to see your home-made hard work ready for the cold room!
I don't always make "home made" but yesterday was a perfect afternoon to pick "cukes" with my Mom and kids. And with a few late night phone calls for Mom-advice, my husband and I created a good batch of delicious dills. He likes them much more than I but I take incredible pleasure in watching my family enjoy home made delights in the middle of January.
While we were out at the "pick-ur-own farm", I picked up a jar of Mango Jam. It sounded so yummy... I thought you would think it did too! So I have included a couple mango jam recipes on our site this month... "Instant Mango Jam" you can make for breakfast and an Easy Mango Jam recipe you can put in jars. Find them here...
