Busy moms agree on one thing - nutrition of their children
is a top concern.
In a national survery conducted this past August, "the
majority of those surveyed (64%) have concerns about their
children's health and nutrition as they return to school...
Concerns included that their children won't eat healthful
foods including fruits, vegetables, whole grains and
low-fat dairy products and that they will choose junk food
when not being supervised or provided with specific food
choices."
Not all kids choose junk food. A friend of mine from South
America recounted a childhood story about how his buddies
and he would pick a bucket of ripe mangoes and sit eating
the sweet fruit, feeding the skins to the local cows so
mother wouldn't find out why they weren't hungry at supper.
When presented with simple-to-eat, healthy, great tasting
choices, we can all choose well.
Actually, our 7D Dried Mangoes are often chosen by kids.
