In Zambia, food memories of a group of elephants have taken an interesting turn. Seems this herd of beautiful African elephants can't resist the mouth-watering taste of mango to the point that even parading through the lobby of a hotel can't stop them.
This gentle group had been migrating through an area for years un-encumbered until returning one year to find a small lodge built right in the way of their annual feast. No matter, these hungry pachyderms decided mango was more important and proceeded to walk right through the lobby out to the grove.
Now these elephants return yearly to the delight of the tourists and staff led by their matriarch, Wonky Tusk. Delightful!
